BOOKING

For booking a tour, please use the booking form on our website. Bookings will close two hours before tour start. If you encounter any issues with booking or have any questions regarding a booking please contact us using the links on this site.

When booking a tour with Rambling Historian, you are agreeing to adhere to your own standards for personal responsibility. With regards to safety, we will indicate prior and throughout the tour anything of note to consider, but please know that we are public liability insured and are not responsible for your conduct and/or actions on any tour.

PRIVACY

At Rambling Historian, we want you to feel secure in the knowledge that we will not be using or providing to any third party any booking information you may provide us. When supplying your name and email in the booking form, this information is used to send confirmation, reminder, cancellation, and follow-up emails regarding your tour or our future offerings. At any time, you may request via our contact form or email that your email be deleted from our system. With regards to payment information input, that is strictly used for payment via Square, and not something we can access.

As with most sites, our small business website uses cookies. When entering your site, a cookie banner should pop up that upon clicking to exit it means you accept our cookies policy.

CANCELLATIONS

When booking with Rambling Historian, you may cancel any tour booked at any time up until 2 hours prior to start time. This allows us to properly prepare for each tour and know who to expect at the start point.

In the event that we have to cancel a tour you’ve booked, we will notify you, where you may choose a full refund, or to reschedule your tour.

RESCHEDULING

We understand that at some point, you may need to reschedule your tour, but do not want to cancel your booking and payment. Refer to your confirmation email, and use the button link to ‘Change/Cancel’ your tour, and pick an available date more suited to your schedule.

Please note that we do not accept rescheduling less than 48 hours before your tour start time. If you change your tour less then 48 hours, we will automatically cancel it per our policy.

REFUNDS

When cancelling your booking more than 48 hours before your tour start time, you are entitled to a full refund should you choose not to reschedule to a later available date/time. If you cancel within the 48-hour window prior to your tour start, you will not be issued a refund.
